Terms and Conditions of Typesubs

Updated over a week ago

The following Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Typesubs platform. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. General

1.1 By accessing, registering, or using the Typesubs platform (the “User”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”), as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the platform.

1.2 Typesubs reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be published on the platform and will become effective upon publication. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

1.3 Typesubs is intended only for:

i. Individuals who are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms;
ii. Individuals under 18 years old who have obtained consent and supervision from a parent or legal guardian, who will be responsible for their activity on the platform.

2. Role of Typesubs

Typesubs acts solely as a technology platform intermediary that facilitates the creation, management, and participation in groups for sharing digital services among users.

Typesubs:

(a) Is not the provider of the digital services offered within Groups;
(b) Does not control or guarantee their availability or quality;
(c) Does not participate in agreements between Users;
(d) Is not responsible for the content or operation of the shared services.

All agreements related to access and use of shared services are made exclusively between the Users participating in each Group.

3. Groups on Typesubs

3.1 What is a Group?

On Typesubs, Users can create or join Groups to share access to digital services such as streaming platforms, software, or tools, by splitting the cost among members.

3.2 How does access within a Group work?

When joining a Group, you will be able to access the shared service under the conditions defined by the user who created it (the “Creator”).
The User acknowledges that each Group may have limitations, such as user caps or simultaneous access restrictions set by the Creator. Typesubs does not control these limitations and does not guarantee continuous availability, particularly if the Creator makes changes to the underlying service.

3.3 What types of services can be shared?

Groups may be associated with different digital services. Typesubs does not sell or provide these services directly, but instead facilitates the connection and organization between Users for shared access, in accordance with the terms set by each original service provider.

4. Creation and Management of Groups

4.1 Group Creation

Any User may create a Group within Typesubs. When doing so, the Creator defines the details of the service to be shared, the number of available spots, and the price each User must pay to join. This information will be publicly visible before any User decides to join.

4.2 Access to a Group

To join a Group, the User must complete full payment before gaining access to the Group Content (such as login details or access links).

4.3 Pricing Transparency

The participation price will be clearly displayed within the Group before the User joins, ensuring full visibility of the financial commitment.

4.4 Creator Responsibility

The Creator is responsible for:

i. Providing accurate and truthful information about the shared service;
ii. Setting the participation price;
iii. Maintaining valid and functional access to the Group Content.

4.5 Group Modifications

The Creator may modify the Group (including adding or removing members or changing access), provided that previously established conditions are respected. However, the participation price for Users who have already paid cannot be modified under any circumstances.

5. Payments and Transactions

5.1 Payment Methods

Typesubs supports various payment methods, including debit and credit cards and other authorized payment providers.

5.2 Prepayment and Access

Payment must be completed before accessing a Group. All relevant Group information will be available prior to confirming the payment.
Once payment is confirmed, the user will gain access to the Group Content.

5.3 Fees and Charges for Creators

As a Group Creator, you will receive payments from users who join your Groups. For each successful transaction, a service fee will be applied.

The total fee consists of:

  • A platform fee of 4%, which covers platform infrastructure, support, security, and related services.

  • Payment processing fees ranging from 4.4% to 5.9%, depending on the payment method or card type.

  • A fixed fee of $0.30 USD per transaction.

These fees will be automatically deducted from each payment before the remaining amount is processed to the Creator.

The applicable fees will be displayed to the User prior to completing each transaction.

Typesubs reserves the right to modify the applicable fees at any time. Any changes will be communicated to Users in advance through the Platform.

By creating and managing Groups on Typesubs, you acknowledge and agree to these fees.

5.4 Creator Withdrawals

Creators may request the transfer of collected funds on a periodic basis, provided there are no active disputes or unresolved issues related to their Groups. Typesubs reserves the right to temporarily hold funds in the event of ongoing investigations or suspected violations of these Terms.

6. Refunds

6.1 Communication with the Creator
In the event of an issue, the User must first contact the Group Creator through the group chat, providing details of the situation in order to reach a direct resolution. Most cases can be resolved between Group members.

6.2 Contacting Typesubs
If the issue is not resolved or the Creator does not respond within a reasonable timeframe, the User may contact Typesubs support to report the situation.

6.3 Case Evaluation
Typesubs may review the information provided and evaluate the case at its sole discretion. Where applicable, Typesubs may take actions within the platform or, in exceptional cases, consider a possible resolution.

7. Rights and Responsibilities

7.1 Creator Responsibility
The Creator is responsible for properly setting up the Group, including pricing, number of spots, and details of the shared service. All information provided must be clear and accurate.

Once the Group is active, Typesubs will facilitate automated access to the Group Content. However, the Creator must ensure that such content remains valid and functional throughout the agreed period and must oversee compliance with the Group’s internal rules.

7.2 User Responsibility
The User must complete the required payment before accessing a Group. Once payment is confirmed, the User will gain access to the Group Content.

7.3 Confidentiality of Group Content
All Members agree to keep the Group Content (such as login details or access links) strictly confidential. Sharing this information outside the Group is strictly prohibited. Typesubs is not responsible for any misuse of such content once it has been accessed by the Member.

7.4 Access to the Service
Members may only access the shared service under the conditions established by the Creator.

8. Group Chat Functionality

8.1 Chat Availability
Each Group created on Typesubs includes an integrated group chat, where Members can communicate to coordinate the use of the service, ask questions, and resolve issues.

8.2 Acceptable Use
Members must use the group chat in a respectful and appropriate manner. Typesubs is not responsible for any messages or interactions that take place within the chat.

8.3 Chat Moderation
Typesubs does not monitor or take responsibility for content generated within the group chat. The Group Creator is responsible for moderating interactions among Members and ensuring compliance with the Group’s internal rules.

9. Cancellation and Termination of Groups

9.1 Cancellation by a Member
A Member may leave a Group at any time. However, payments made are non-refundable, as access to the service is granted upon payment confirmation.

9.2 Cancellation by the Creator
The Creator may cancel a Group at any time. In such cases, Members will be notified in advance, and charges will only apply to the period effectively used.

10. Dispute Resolution

10.1 Initial Resolution
If a Member is unable to access the Group Content or any dispute arises between Members and the Creator, the first step is to attempt resolution directly through the platform’s group chat.

10.2 Escalation to Support
If the issue cannot be resolved within the group chat, Members may escalate the dispute to Typesubs customer support by contacting the support team via email.

10.3 Typesubs Intervention
Typesubs may review the case in an impartial manner and, at its discretion, take appropriate actions within the platform, including facilitating communication between the parties.

10.4 Limitation of Responsibility
Typesubs acts solely as an intermediary in dispute resolution and is not responsible for agreements made between Creators and Members. While reasonable efforts may be made to assist, Typesubs does not guarantee any specific outcome.

11. Personal Information

11.1 Data Processing
All personal information collected is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Within Groups, certain information required to access the shared service (such as login details or access credentials) may be shared among Users within the same Group solely for that purpose. Typesubs does not use, store, or share this information for any other purpose.

12. Group Content

Typesubs:

Users acknowledge that access to the service depends entirely on the information provided within each Group.
